7th/8th Grade Girls
2016 Summary
This is our inaugural season for this team and after establishing none of the clubs in WA had made an effort to try and create a team we were forced to look to Oregon where they have teams with this age level of girls playing. We committed to participating in their eight week Jamboree series and added a couple of girls associated with the Liberty Rugby Club to make weekly trips to Portland. The games were played in a 7s style format and involved five other teams. Our teams at the end of the eight weeks had the highest league points only losing three games but were not able to win the championship game due to a depleted squad from injuries and unavailability. We look forward to the continued effort to build our Middle School Girls Program both this summer and next spring.
